Editor-in-Chief: Daniela Naaman
Daniela Naaman is a senior at Thomas S. Wootton High School. In her fourth year with The MoCo Student, she is honored to lead the publication. She previously served as a News editor, and is deeply interested in international relations and the humanities. She loves literature, languages, film, and museums.
Managing Editor: Callie Deng
Callie Deng is a senior at Richard Montgomery High School. This is her third year with The MoCo Student, and she is thrilled to serve as a managing editor. Previously, she served as the editor of the MoCo News section. She also serves as an assistant editor for her school newspaper, The Tide. Outside of journalism, she loves fun snacks, tennis, and amateur mobile Tetris.

Jay Resnik is a senior at Walter Johnson High School. He’s thrilled to serve as print managing editor in his third year with the publication. Outside of student journalism, Jay is interested in social sciences and international studies, and in his free time he enjoys getting outdoors.
News Editor: Nardos Wondimu
Nardos Wondimu is a senior at Paint Branch High School. In her second year with The MoCo Student, she is very excited to lead as News Editor after previously serving as a reporter in the section. Her interests include political science, philosophy, and African American studies. In her free time, she loves baking for her friends and watching TV.
MoCo News Editor: Sloane Berk
Sloane Berk is a junior at Thomas S. Wootton High School. This is her first year with The MoCo Student. She has been writing for Wootton’s publication, Common Sense, for three years. In her free time, she likes to read and play golf.
Opinions Editor: Abby Siegel
Abby Siegel is a senior at Thomas S. Wootton High School stepping into her first year with The MoCo Student as an opinions editor. Bringing a strong foundation in student writing and analytical thinking, she has developed her voice through advanced coursework in English. Outside the newsroom, Abby is an obsessive reader with a deep passion for literature and storytelling.
Arts & Culture Editor: Catherine Levy
Catherine Levy is a senior at Thomas S. Wootton High School. This is her first year with The MoCo Student, and she is very thankful for the opportunity to serve as an Arts and Culture editor. She has experience writing poetry and tutoring in English, and is deeply interested in psychology and theater. She loves classical literature, magic tricks, and playing flute.
