Montgomery County’s countywide student government, MCR-SGA, is currently accepting applications for its 2014-15 Executive Board. The Executive Board oversees the work of the organization, including everything from supervising and regulating the annual election of the Student Member of the Board to meeting with school system officials and advocating for changes in education policy and in local laws. Applications are open to all high school students, including incoming freshmen.
Applications are due at 5:00 pm on May 8, and are available at http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/studentaffairs/sga/mcr/eb_elections.shtm under “Appointed Staff Positions.” In addition, MCR has produced a simplified guide to each Executive Board position, which can be accessed by clicking here.
